BC Classic hero Blame to stand at $35,000

SATURDAY'S Breeders'Cup Classic winner Blame will begin his stud career at his owner-breeders' Claiborne Farm at a fee of $35,000 next year.

As well as inflicting a first defeat on Zenyatta at Churchill Downs last week, Blame has also won two Grade 1 races in the US and was runner-up in the Grade 1 Jockey Club Cup.

Blame will stand at Claiborne alongside his sire Arch, who receives a fee increase from $25,000 to $30,000.

Claiborne's most expensive resident, Pulpit,sire of nine Grade 1 winners including Corinthian, Ice Box and Tapit, has had his fee adjusted downward, from $60,000 to $50,000.
