DAY three of Royal Ascot picked up where it left off for Juddmonte's Newmarket stallion operation when the Oasis Dream colt Approve ran out an impressive winner of the Norfolk Stakes.

The colt is the first stakes winner from the fourth crop of Oasis Dream and his 30th overall.

Approve is the second foal out of Wyola, a moderate half-sister to the Listed-placed pair Alo Pura and Ivory Gala. They are out of the regally-bred Rubies From Burma, a Forty Niner Listed-placed half-sister to champion Culture Vulture and from the family of the brilliant milers Zilzal and Polish Precedent.

Wyola has a yearling colt by Cape Cross.

Purchased for €56,000 by the late Brian Grassick as a foal at the Goffs November Sale, Approve was led out unsold at 65,000gns at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
