Haras d'Etreham announces stud fees
HARAS d'Etreham has announced its stallion fees for 2009. Five of the published fees remain the same as this year, while two stallions have had their fees raised and two have had their fees cut.
Those whose fees remain unaltered are American Post (€7,000), Green Tune (€15,000), Poliglote (€8,000), Stormy River (€8,000) and Irish Wells (€3,500), who stands at Haras de la Tuilerie.
Lando (€10,000 to €12,000) and Saint Des Saints (€4,000 to €6,000) have both had their fees adjusted upwards.
Lando's best runners in 2008 have been the German Derby runner-up Ostland and Cesarewitch winner Caracciola. Jumps sire Saint Des Saints, who stands under the Tuilerie banner, got off to a good start with his first crop of four-year-old runners this year, siring the Graded-wining chaser Santa Bamba and the Listed-winning hurdler Atlas Du Berlais.
The two stallions whose fees have been cut are Anabaa Blue, sire of this year's Arlington Million winner Spirit One, and Russian Blue (€3,500 to €3,000), who stands at Haras de la Haie Neuve.
This year's Poule d'Essai des Poulains winner Falco, who is new to the Etreham roster in 2009, will stand at €12,000.
