The confidence shown in Teofilo by Stan James is stronger than that of Paddy Power and Boylesports, who offered 15/2 and 8/1 about the son of Galileo when they released their markets last month.

However, there is agreement that the Irish National Stud's Amadeus Wolf will be a prominent player. Paddy Power made the stalliontheir favourite at 4/1 while Boylesports offered 9/2 for the Middle Park Stakes winner alongside Dark Angel and Red Clubs. Stan James has priced the trio at 5/1.

Unbeaten Dewhurst Stakes winner Teofilo stood his first season at Kildangan Stud in Ireland for €40,000. He was the commercial leader among the first-crop sires last year with his first yearlings selling for an average of 87,096gns and up to €400,000.

He has over 110 two-year-olds to represent him including half-siblings to theGroup 1 winners Allegretto, Blue Canari, Dilshaan, Folk Opera, Independence, Nightime and Sixties Icon.

Odds for each stallion will be updated throughout the season by Joseph Burke of Stan James.
