Airwave's half-sister wins Wolverhampton maiden

JWALA, who is a half-sister to Cheveley Park Stakes winner Airwave, boosted her paddock value by winning the five furlong maiden at Wolverhampton on Monday.

The two-year old is a homebred by Manor Farm Stud in Rutland and is by Oasis Dream and out of Kangra Valley, the dam of six other winners. Her most notable relative is Airwave who won theGroup 1 Betfair Cheveley Park Stakes in 2002.

Jwala won the race well by two and a quarter lengths.
