Divine Park retired to Airdrie Stud

GRADE 1 winner Divine Park has been retired from racing and added to the stallion roster at Brereton C. Jones's Airdrie Stud in Kentucky.

The four-year-old son of Chester House won this year's Metropolitan Handicap, beating Commentator by two lengths. The runner-up subsequently won the Whitney Handicap by four and a half lengths.

Bred by Catesby W. Clay and his Runnymede Farm, Divine Park won six of his nine starts and earned over $600,000 in prize-money. On his most recent start he finished sixth behind Curlin in the Woodward Stakes.

He will commence stud duties in 2009 at a fee of $17,500.
