Adena Springs stallion Tiago to miss season

ADENA Springs has been dealt the second blow of recent weeks with the news that young stallion Tiago is likely to miss the breeding season after undergoing colic surgery.

Adena Springs recently announced that their second year stallion Harlem Rocker will miss the season due to spinal issues. Both Harlem Rocker and Tiago stand under the Adena Springs banner at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds in New York.

Eight-year-old Tiago is recuperating at Adena Springs in Kentucky from colic surgery performed on Janunary 6 at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital.

The dual Grade I winner, who is a Pleasant Tap half-brother to Kentucky Derby hero Giacomo, was set to stand this season for $5,000. His first crop are yearlings.
