Southern hemisphere duty for Adena roster

FRANK Stronach's Adena Springs has announced that 16 of the operation's 19 stallions will cover mares in the northern hemisphere on southern hemisphere time at Adena Springs in Kentucky and at Adena Springs South in Florida.

Stallions available for duty include Awesome Again, Congaree, El Prado, Macho Uno and North Light. Southern hemisphere fees have yet to be released.

"Our stallion roster is extremely appealing to international breeders, and we wish to accommodate them by offering our stallions at a very competitive price," said Andy Stronach.

"Our customers recognize the impact that our roster has made on the international racing scene, and they are very anxious to introduce these bloodlines into the southern hemisphere market."

The operation stands eight stallions at its Kentucky farm and eight at its base in Florida. Another two, Silent Name and Sligo Bay, stood the past season in Canada while one, Indy King, stands in Indiana.
