So You Think: High Chaparral's multiple Group 1-winning son

So You Think bound for Coolmore Australia

SO YOU THINK, the five-time Group 1 winner in Australia in whom Coolmore have recently purchased a stake, will stand at their Australian base for the southern hemisphere season of 2011.

The son of High Chaparral, third in the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, is likely to race in Europe for trainer Aidan O'Brien next year before he joins the stallion ranks.

The colt became the first horse in history to win the Cox Plate at three and four years of age, with his top-level wins accrued over 1m1f and 1m2f.

"So You Think is another fantastic endorsement for the whole shuttle concept," said Tom Magnier of Coolmore Australia.

"We see this as a great opportunity for So You Think to showcase histalents to the world. The racing world is well aware of the brilliance of the Australasian sprinters, but to produce a middle-distance horse capable of successfully competing on the world stage would serve as a huge boost to the Australasian racing and breeding industry.

"He's such a versatile horse that there would be numerous opportunities for him in Europe and beyond and of course all the very best races will be considered."
