French sire Muhaymin off the mark at La Teste

MUHAYMIN, the penultimate foal out of 1,000 Guineas heroine Shadayid, sired his first winner on Sunday when Action Chope won his debut over 6f at La Teste Buch.

Bred in France by A. Chopard and C. Fayol, Action Chope is the second winner from two foals out ofthe unplaced Solid Illusion mare Free Track.

Muhaymin was acquired for stud duty from Shadwell by Haras des Faunes following a seven-race career with John Dunlop in which he won a Leicester maiden. Action Chope is one of ten foals from the first crop of the son of A P Indy, who stood the past season at Haras des Faunes for €1,000.
